The Lewis Glucksman Gallery is an award-winning cultural and educational institution that promotes the research, creation and exploration of the visual arts. Located at University College Cork, the Glucksman is a landmark building that includes display spaces, lecture facilities, a riverside restaurant and gallery shop. More at ww.glucksman.org
The Glucksman offers regular interships at the gallery. These are announced on a rolling basis three times a year. Each internship is focused on a specific project or curatorial area. Currently, internships are offered in three areas.

The Northern Health and Social Care Trust with Macmillan Cancer Support are currently building a new Palliative Care Unit at Antrim Hospital.
Artists are invited to submit proposals for three integrated artwork commissions within this new centre.

2. Window artwork – glass or vinyl design – large glazed area
3. Window artwork – glass or vinyl design – smaller window

The website is administered by South Dublin County Council and has been live since November 2008. Based on Australia Council’s NOISE site, South Dublin County’s site showcases work created by young people and provides a space for young people to develop their interests and practice through collaboration with and mentoring by a NOISE Project Artist.
