The main duties of the post will be to organise Fèis Bharraigh, a week‐long tuition-based festival for children and young people which takes place in July. Also, with direction from the Fèis Bharraigh committee, to coordinate Barrafest, a two day music festival. The administrator will also be required to support the Fèis committee to maintain and develop a programme of evening classes and workshops.

The post is initially for one year and will be part‐time for 20 hours per week. Pay will be a minimum of £8.14 p/h (APT&C Point 20) depending on experience. Eden Court is the theatre for the Highlands of Scotland presenting a wide variety of theatre, dance, cinema and music from its building in Inverness, and operating an extensive programme of arts education throughout the region. They now wish to appoint a suitably experienced individual to lead their Box Office and Sales team. Applicants should ideally have at least two years sales experience gained within a box office or similar cultural environment.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of staff management, a commitment to customer service and excellent communication skills. The position requires an individual who can motivate, inspire and lead their team to achieve sales targets and to strengthen and develop the customer relationship. This is a full-time post, salary circa £23,000.

Launched in Spring 2010, LINE is a new Scottish art publication created by students and graduates from Edinburgh College of Art and the SOLV design agency. LINE is currently expanding its staff and is looking for:

Dance Base serves around 2,200 dancers each week and with the new Thomas Morton Hall studio about to open in Leith this number is set to grow. They’re looking for exceptionally friendly, fun and customer focused staff to join their team as Reception Staff (£6.15 ph) and Duty Managers (£7.50 ph). Duties include:
- Welcoming dancers and dealing with enquiries
- Processing bookings and selling tickets
- Ensuring the comfort and safety of everyone in the buildings

Hours and shifts are flexible and will be worked in either the Grassmarket or in Leith between the hours of 7.30am and 10pm throughout the week. Shifts are seasonal and based on three academic terms of classes each year. The kind of person they’re looking for is

Scottish Dance Traditions aims to be the recognised champion for Scottish dance worldwide. It is currently seeking Board members with experience of marketing, fundraising, research and the law in order to proactively help them drive forward their ambitious aims and objectives. An interest in dance or traditional arts is desirable, as is a creative, enthusiastic approach and a willingness to make a real difference to traditional Scottish dance both now and in the future.

Following the loss of Scottish Arts Council flexible funding in 2009, the organisation underwent an extensive review of its marketing, income generating and fundraising procedures. Now trading as Scottish Dance Traditions, and based in Clackmannanshire, it has developed a fundraising strategy and marketing plan to ensure the future stability and sustainability of its work.
